Silt Protector is a flexible membrane product that has been physically designed, and is useful for preventing the spread of pollution generated during dredging or reclamation of the sea or river. Pollution (fine particles) greatly affects benthic organisms (sea biota that live under it) including making it difficult for fish to breathe and reducing underwater lighting.

Silt Protector prevents the diffusion of pollution because it uses physical means without using chemicals that will be the cause secondary pollution. Silt Protector basically consists of a curtain section made of synthetic textiles (especially those made of high-strength woven polyester), a curtain float in the water, and a mooring section for fixing the unit at the specified location.
