Friday, August 9 2024, PT. Geoforce Indonesia had the arrival of a Principal Geotechnical Consultant from Seequent (Bentley Subsurface Company), one of the companies that oversees the geotechnical software used, namely Plaxis 3D. He is Mr. William Cheang, PhD. The meeting was attended by Mr. Dandung Sri Harninto as Main Director of PT. Geoforce Indonesia and Nadya Ayu Anindita from the Engineering team representative and Nastiti Tiasundari from the R&D team representative. During the meeting, Mr. Cheang explained the latest updates from Seequent and Plaxis. After that, the meeting continued by discussing case studies from several PT projects. Geoforce Indonesia which has been designed with Plaxis 3D software. This discussion was very interesting because it discussed quite deeply starting from the choice of soil modeling, the behavior of retaining wall structures and also suggestions for other projects in the future.

Saturday, July 20th 2024, Nadya Ayu Anindita, ST as a Geotechnical Engineer from PT Geoforce Indonesia was one of the speakers at the 2024 Engineering for Teenagers event held by Tripatra.

Tripatra, in collaboration with various parties, organizes an innovative program known as Engineering for Teenagers in the Jabodetabek area, especially aimed at junior high school/equivalent students. This program is designed to introduce and expand their understanding of the world of engineering in a creative and fun way. Participants are not only invited to learn theory, but are also directly involved in simple practices of applied science, which helps increase their interest in this field.

One of the main aspects of this program is introducing participants to the engineering profession and how their role influences everyday life. Through a fun and inspiring learning experience, participants can see firsthand how engineering knowledge can be applied in real situations to solve problems around them, including challenges related to climate change and renewable energy.

Apart from that, this program also seeks to break gender stereotypes in the engineering profession by showing participants that engineering is a field that is open to anyone, regardless of gender. Thus, they are encouraged to explore their interests without social or gender restrictions.

In this program, participants not only gain technical knowledge and skills, but also gain valuable lessons about teamwork, problem solving, and creativity. It is hoped that this experience will give them a solid foundation to explore more deeply the world of engineering and perhaps encourage some of them to pursue careers in this field in the future.

Digital Transformations Indonesia Conference & Expo (DTI-CX 2024), from 31 July to 1 August 2024, taking place at the Jakarta Convention Center - Indonesia is the center of attention for digital industry players. June 2nd 2024, PT Geoforce Indonesia cooperate with DTSL FT UGM, has carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program which aims to improve the quality of life of the community in the Watukangsi area, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This company is building a village hall which will become the center of local community activities.

The construction of this village hall is a concrete step for PT Geoforce Indonesia to support infrastructure development and social development in the area. The village hall that was built has a modern design and is equipped with adequate facilities to support various community activities, ranging from group meetings, cultural events, to training and other social activities. It is hoped that the 

construction of a village hall by PT Geoforce Indonesia in Watukangsi, Sleman, Yogyakarta can become a center of activity that will benefit all Watukangsi residents and can be an inspiration for other companies to participate in development efforts to improve community welfare in a sustainable manner.

On 27th to 31st May 2024, PT Geoforce Indonesia was part of the In House Training Activities at the Geotechnical, Tunnel and Structure Center (BGTS). In this event PT Geoforce Indonesia filled in for 3 days, the first 2 days providing materials at the Geotechnical, Tunnel and Structures (BGTS) Office and the last 1 day a field visit to the Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) installation project in Podomoro Park Bandung, West Java . 

The presentationwas given by Mr. Dandung S. Harninto, S.T., M.T., IPU, ASEAN Eng as President Director of PT Geoforce Indonesia together with the Engineering and Construction Team, namely Nadya Ayu Anindita, ST and Ardyan Badriza, ST. 

Mr Dandung and the Team gave a presentation on the Introduction to Geosynthetic Materials, Functions and Applications of Geosynthetic Materials, while on the second day the presentation given was entitled Geosynthetic Construction Methods and Geosynthetic Construction Case Studies. 

The In House Training participants were very enthusiastic about taking part in this event, this event was filled with games with prizes of attractive merchandise from PT Geoforce Indonesia.
