Geoforce Indonesia Participates in PIT HATTI XXIX 2025: Driving Innovation in Geotechnical Engineering for Sustainable Infrastructure
The 29th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Geotechnical Society (HATTI), or PIT HATTI XXIX, was successfully held on 10–12 November 2025 at the Birawa Assembly Hall, Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta. This prestigious annual event brought together experts, researchers, academics, and practitioners in geotechnical engineering to discuss the latest innovations and challenges in national infrastructure development. With the theme “Geotechnical Engineering for Sustainable Infrastructure: Driving Resilience and Innovation,” the event highlighted the importance of strengthening resilience and advancing innovation in sustainable infrastructure development amid rapid urbanization and climate change.
As part of its commitment to supporting the advancement of geotechnical science in Indonesia, Geoforce Indonesia participated as one of the sponsors of this year’s event. The company’s involvement was further enriched by contributions from two representatives of the Sales Engineering Team, Yashinta and Sundari, who delivered scientific presentations to the attendees. Yashinta presented “The Use of Locally Produced Two-Layer Non-Woven GI_Tubes for Levees – A Case Study of the Semarang–Demak Toll Road Project, Central Java,” while Sundari shared insights on “Implementation of Sludge-Filled Geotextile Tubes as a Sustainable Coastal Protection Measure in Muddy Coastline.” Both presentations captured significant interest as they showcased innovative geosynthetic technologies made locally and offered sustainable solutions for coastal protection and infrastructure development in Indonesia.
Throughout the three-day event, the Geoforce Indonesia booth also became one of the most visited. A series of interactive games with attractive prizes successfully engaged many participants and served as an effective platform to introduce the company’s innovative geosynthetic products and solutions.
