Geoforce Indonesia Participates as an Industry Reviewer in the PUTech 2026 Curriculum Review
Yogyakarta, June 24th, 2026 – Geoforce Indonesia proudly participated in the 2026 Curriculum Review Workshop organized by the Polytechnic of Public Works (PUTech), held at the PUPR Regional V Competency Development Center in Yogyakarta from June 24–26, 2026.
The workshop served as a strategic platform that brought together vocational higher education institutions, industry representatives, businesses, and key stakeholders to evaluate and align the curriculum with the latest developments in construction technology, industry demands, professional competency standards, and national policies for vocational higher education.
As part of the curriculum development process, Geoforce Indonesia was invited to contribute as one of the industry partners, providing practical insights and recommendations to ensure the curriculum remains relevant to current and future workforce needs. On this occasion, Mr. Dandung Sri Harninto represented Geoforce Indonesia as an industry reviewer, sharing his expertise and perspectives based on real-world practices and challenges within the construction sector.
The involvement of industry professionals is expected to strengthen the relevance of vocational education by ensuring that graduates possess the competencies required by today's construction industry, are adaptable to technological advancements, and are well-prepared to support Indonesia's infrastructure development.
Throughout the three-day workshop, participants discussed key aspects of curriculum enhancement, including graduate profiles, priority competencies, practical field training, professional certification, and sustainable collaboration between academia and industry. These discussions aim to produce a curriculum that is responsive to technological innovation and evolving workforce requirements.
