Geoforce Goes to Campus: Introducing Geosynthetic Materials to Politeknik Astra Students
As part of Geoforce Indonesia’s commitment to supporting technical education in Indonesia, the Geoforce Goes to Campus program made another meaningful step forward—this time in collaboration with Politeknik Astra.
Through this initiative, Nadya Ayu Anindita, Engineering Manager for Geotechnical Engineering at PT Geoforce Indonesia, was invited to serve as a Guest Industry Lecturer for the Soil Mechanics 1 course in the Building Construction Engineering Technology Program.
The session focused on:
- Introduction to geosynthetic materials
- Functions and benefits in geotechnical applications
- Practical uses in infrastructure projects
- Real-life case studies from the field
Held over two days, on Monday and Tuesday, July 7–8, 2025, the sessions took place at the Politeknik Astra campus in Cikarang. Geoforce’s presence in the classroom offered students first-hand insight into the practical application of geosynthetic technology in today’s construction industry.
This initiative is part of the broader Link and Match strategy, which aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices. By bringing real-world expertise into higher education, Geoforce helps prepare future engineers to meet the demands and challenges of the professional world.
Geoforce Indonesia believes that building the future of infrastructure starts with building the capabilities of future talents. Through Geoforce Goes to Campus, we remain committed to supporting education that is relevant, practical, and impactful.
