Guest Lecture by PT Geoforce Indonesia at Universitas Brawijaya
PT Geoforce Indonesia had the opportunity to participate in a Guest Lecture organized by the Department of Water Resources Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya. The event served as a platform for sharing knowledge and practical experience on the application of geosynthetic technology in water resources engineering and infrastructure.
Held on September 18, 2026, at the Tirta Utama Auditorium, Building A of the Department of Water Resources Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya, the session featured Yasinta Yati Nuranbya, S.T., M.T., Sales Engineer, and Fajar Widhiastuti, S.T., Geotechnical Engineer, from PT Geoforce Indonesia as speakers.
The session covered an introduction to PT Geoforce Indonesia and geosynthetic engineering, along with its various applications in infrastructure projects. The topics included the application of GI-Tube for coastal protection and its implementation in the Semarang–Demak Toll Road Project, river slope protection systems using Geoframe, and the application of geosynthetics as impermeable layers.
Through this activity, students gained valuable insights into the practical application of geosynthetic technology while developing a better understanding of the connection between academic knowledge and real-world engineering practices.
