In the first half of this year, 15 companies were selected from a total of 3,300 registered companies at Grha BPJamsostek to receive awards in various categories. At the event, led by the Head of Grha BPJamsostek Branch, Mr. Andry Rubiantara, Geoforce Indonesia was honored with an award in the category of Socialization and Implementation of MLT Services for Medium-Sized Companies. Selection Process and Evaluation Criteria

The Social Security Awards is a prestigious recognition given to companies or institutions that actively contribute to labor social protection, both in the formal and informal sectors. The evaluation process is conducted twice a year, in the first semester (January–June) and the second semester (July–December), considering several key aspects.

Companies participating in this award are classified into three categories based on their operational scale: large, medium, and small/micro enterprises. The assessment is based on several key indicators, including administrative compliance, which covers timely payment of contributions, adherence to the Company Reporting Information System (SIPP), registration of BOD/BOC, validity of National Identity Numbers (NIK), and the company's status regarding PDS (Perusahaan Dalam Status). Additionally, other evaluated aspects include the utilization of JMO (Jamsostek Mobile), implementation of additional service benefits (MLT), participation in the #SERTAKAN (Collective/JMO) program, and compliance within the supply chain.

Geoforce Indonesia's achievement in winning this award further strengthens position as a company that prioritizes employee well-being through the optimal implementation of social security programs. This recognition also serves as motivation for other companies to enhance their compliance and contributions in supporting the national social security system.

As a reminder, the Social Security Awards will be held again in the second semester of this year. Companies registered with Grha BPJamsostek are encouraged to continue improving their labor protection implementation to ensure better welfare for all workers in Indonesia.

Kulon Progo – Severe coastal erosion over the past few years has worsened conditions at Trisik Beach, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. In addition to affecting local communities, erosion threatens the sustainability of coastal ecosystems and the tourism sector.

In response to this issue, on Sunday (February 16), ShARE UGM, Geoforce Indonesia, POKDARWIS (Kelompok Sadar Wisata) Banaran, and KATSGAMA (Gadjah Mada Civil Engineering Alumni Association) initiated a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to mitigate erosion at Trisik Beach. The program employs two primary methods: mangrove planting and the installation of GI-Bags as mitigation measures.

Mangrove planting serves as a natural solution to combat erosion, strengthen coastal soil structures, and enhance marine biodiversity. Mangroves play a crucial role in absorbing wave energy and creating habitats for various marine species that contribute to ecosystem balance.

Meanwhile, the installation of GI-Bags offers a technical solution by using geotextile bags filled with sand as a physical barrier to reduce the impact of waves on the shoreline. This technology aims to reinforce the coastline and minimize the rate of erosion caused by continuous wave action.

Through this initiative, ShARE UGM, Geoforce Indonesia, POKDARWIS (Kelompok Sadar Wisata) Banaran, and KATSGAMA (Gadjah Mada Civil Engineering Alumni Association) collaborate with the local community to develop sustainable solutions for preserving Trisik Beach against erosion and the effects of climate change. This CSR program also highlights the importance of synergy between academia, corporations, and communities in protecting coastal environments for future generations.
